Spring
Last Sunday was the first day of spring, but the weather has been slow to warm up. There is a hint of spring in the air, but it may be more pollen than anything else. I like springtime because it reminds me that there is new life and growth happening all around. There is a freshness in nature bringing with it hope.
There must be winter in order for spring to be so vibrant and colorful. It is somewhat exciting to see the bare trees sprout small green buds. Then one day we wake up to full blossoms of white or pink or yellow. We then anxiously await the tees that bear fruit to produce something tasty and nourishing.
We go through seasons in life. I wonder, what season are you in? It's okay to be where you are. If you are still in winter and life seems gray, cold and gloomy, just wait a while longer. Your spring may come later.
(This post was written for Five Minute Fridays community. The word prompt was "spring.")

Our Spring usually comes earlier for us; but, it was a unusually cold winter. I like your question (what season are you in?) My spring is coming.
