His Work

I believe in the Holy Spirit.  I rely on the Holy Spirit.  I know that the Holy Spirit has power.  I trust that the Holy Spirit gives Believers all that they need in life.  I need eyes to see more clearly the work of the Holy Spirit in my life.  Just when I begin to notice how the Holy Spirit is moving in my life, I get distracted and occupied by some earthly issue.

Dear Holy Spirit, help me to remain focused on your work in and through me.  I need your power to see things for how they really are in the world.  For when I believe that my earthly circumstances do not determine who I am or what you've called me to do, I experience joy and peace.  Holy Spirit, I rest in your presence now and in the hope to come.  Amen
