Back At It

I refuse to go an entire year without writing a blog post.  Almost once a week I think of writing and then don't make time to do it.  I think how much I enjoy writing and what creative topics I might cover, but then time just slips away without a sentence being shared.  The following sequence of thoughts go through my mind: "Other people blog.  Other people blog a lot.  Other people are really good and devoted to writing in their blog.  Other people actually get paid for writing in their blog.  Why don't I write more often in my blog and get paid for it?"  By the end of my thought process, I'm off doing something else and time that could be spent writing is wasted in front of the TV or social media phone apps (occasionally both at the same time).

So, here is my re-commitment   To whomever chooses to follow this blog and take the time to read my musings, I will take the time to write.  I have plenty of material.  I mean, there are plenty of ideas that go through my head and lots of stories I could tell.  I'm not bragging or professing that my life is always exciting.  I just think of things that could be shared and perhaps others might identify.  I admire those bloggers who have themes for each day of the week, such as Freebie Friday and Weird Wednesday.  Don't get your hopes up too much; I'm not that creative or ambitious.  I'll stick to once a week and see what comes.  So check back next week.  You might be surprised!
