Snow!

This month's theme is snow, snow, snow!

I knew when I moved to NE that I would be seeing a lot of the white fluffy stuff, but wow! - the past few weeks have been almost too much! It is really fun to play in and sliding down a mountain on two slats of wood is exciting every now and then. This is my sixth winter here and I am still in awe of the beauty a blanket of snow brings to the landscape. Of course, after it's been plowed, shoveled, driven over, salted, sanded, walked on, rain covered, and frozen it isn't the most pleasant site. But today's snow is still fluttering in the air and has covered over the dirty snow from last week.

I know that I need to go shovel the drive and brush off my car, but first there is lunch to be eaten and some administrative work to be done. It kind of stinks having your office in your bedroom - no excuse for a snow day off!
