Recovery

I'm on the road to recovery.
Here are some activities that have served as my therapy:
1 - a walk in the woods with a view of the city of Boston
2 - s'mores around a campfire
3 - climbing out of a tent to watch the sun rise over the marshland
4 - laying out on the rocky coast at the tip of Cape Ann
5 - continuing a new running routine (in training for some big race)

6 - a day game at Fenway park (Sox win!)

Other notable things that I have done to get myself through this rough time:
1 - crying to several friends who listened well
2 - writing thoughts and prayers
3 - hearing my boss tell me that he won't let me quit
4 - meeting with the adult committee
5 - baking a cake with a teenage friend for her mother's birthday
6 - eating ice cream with the girls that gave me so much trouble at camp

  1. Hang in there Sarah! Boston needs you. And God needs you in Boston!

  2. I left out the time in silence that I spent at a monastery (www.ssje.org) chapel near Harvard Square. It was most refreshing!

  3. I love your honesty and how you are so good at wrestling through stuff! Thanks for the card and gift for Sam, by the way! I'd love to see you when you're here!
