Just in Time

This month's been a little bit of a downer so far. There are a few things that make me truly happy these days, and some of them occurred today. They are:

• Making pancakes mid-morning still in my pajamas
• Watching an afternoon baseball game on TV
• Eating ice cream while watching the game
• Shopping at Target
• Eating dinner with my church family
• Worshiping the Lord
• Hanging out with good friends
• Drinking Margaritas while hanging out with fun friends

Life is not so bad.

Of course, I had a little trouble deciding who to cheer for as I watched the baseball game. You see, the Mets were playing the Yankees at Shea and while I love hating the Yankees, the Mets are leading the division over the Braves. Well, as it turned out, the Mets lost (can't believe Pedro didn't get the win) and I was sad, but the Braves lost also in a late game out in Arizona. At least the Red Sox won today! Interleague continues and I'm excited that our cable was hooked up just in time for me to enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon lounging on the couch while watching a baseball game on TV - nothing is quite as relaxing (and I could use some relaxation)!
